Changing...an Oprah revelation

I just heard a great speech by Oprah Winfrey...she was at the Stanford University commencement a month ago, which is also my alma mater. I wish she had spoken at my graduation! Yes, the poet laureate was very inspiring...but Oprah is my hero!
She was talking about how one changes as they get older. But this is good. Because more likely, you are changing more into yourself...you are becoming yourself as you get to know yourself and spend more time with yourself. What a concept. I feel more like me at 31 years than I ever have. I got to know myself through the rough times, the good times, the hardest times, the depressing times, the anxious times, the shut-the-world-out times, and the joyous times. I have spent some really hard and true times with myself, and I have made it. And I still have lots more to do. So, this said, this realized, I have this to say to everyone: look forward to tomorrow, because that means one day closer to finding out who you really are! What is more exciting than that?
